The Continuation of my ADVENTURE!

March 28,2015

          Hajimimashite!

Today's the continuation of our Kendo lesson. This time, our sensei is around. It's really fun practicing and our senpais are all friendly and they taught us well. Thanks senpais! also domo arigatou gozaimasu sensei! We continued our lessons about the foot works and also proper position of the hands while executing the strikes. My body hurts a lot because of the training but then again I'll say this, IT IS REALLY WORTH IT. We will be having a 2 weeks break because of the Holy week and since I did not have my shinai yet, I borrowed a shinai from the kendo club. Yay! More practices to come.

My First Training Adventure

March 25, 2015

Hajimimashite!

I officially started my Kendo classes. I just received my temporary kendo uniform. We practiced for hours. I did not expect to have done those intense warm-ups from the very first day but I am proud I survived it even when I was still sick. We started with our orientation and then proceeded to the basics of kendo. I must say I thought that it was so easy but now I think that it's more challenging than I thought. Before I have a plan on quitting my classes but this first experience is all worth it and I am really loving this physical activities. I know I will be having muscle cramps later but I don't care because I know it's from my hard work. Kudos to our senpais who are really patient in teaching us. We will be meeting our sensei this Saturday. I hope all goes well. :3

'Til my next Kendo diary update! Jaa ne!
